Why we’re building HappieMe
Before using HR software, we managed holidays in spreadsheets. Calculating leave manually took time, and colleagues either asked us for their remaining balance or kept their own copies. It was hard to know which record was up to date.
When we moved to HR software, our five-person team fell into a larger pricing band. We wanted something that fitted the way a small business works. That led us to build HappieMe for our own business.
Made for the people using it
HappieMe is HR software for small businesses. It brings employee records, holiday requests, leave balances and team calendars together. We use it to manage our team’s holidays and employee details.
We’ve made it available to other businesses facing the same problems, with one place for the team to check their details and holiday balances.
Starting with the essentials
Our focus is on getting the day-to-day work right. Next, we’re planning tools to help with the admin around people joining and leaving, including access setup and equipment checklists.
